This is a great learning book for the avid painter. A very detailed and in depth book that would not be good for a beginner because it is a "meat and potatoes" kind of book.

This was a fabulous art book, but not great for a beginner. Great detail is shown throughout the book. If you want the real meat and potatoes of drawing and are looking for in depth detail this is the book for you. All round a great book.
